Laura Brown, TPB’s Director of Operations, juggles responsibilities across events, facilities, IT, comms and brand, and operations. She loves taking on new projects, keeping the team’s tech stack up to date, and automating everything.

Prior to TPB, Laura was an Executive Assistant at RealtyShares, a fast-growing startup backed by Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and 500 Startups. Before moving to San Francisco, Laura lived and worked in Germany for The Global Crop Diversity Trust, an international organization focusing on global preservation of the world’s crop diversity. As Partnerships Fellow, she supported the Head of Finance and Executive Director to build and execute a fundraising strategy to raise a $250M+ endowment fund.

Laura graduated from Rhodes College with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and has a Master’s degree in Food Studies from University of the Pacific. In her free time, she’s most likely obsessing over her goldendoodle, Gatsby, training for her next marathon, or pondering life with the help of her favorite philosophers.
